Willie McCowan

McCowan was a four-time national qualifier and three-time All-American in the 285-pound/heavyweight weight class when he wrestled at Central Missouri from 2000-04. McCowan compiled a career record of 129-44, which is second-best in school history. He holds the all-time pins record for UCM wrestling at 75 and his 482.5 team points is tops in program history. On his way to his three All-American performances, McCowan finished eighth at the NCAA Division II Championships in 2000, fifth in 2001 and fourth in 2004. He was the Vernon Kennedy Award winner as the outstanding senior Male student-athlete for UCM in 2003-04.
