Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
The mission of the MIAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare, maintaining athletic integrity, acting as a liaison between the student-athletes and the administration, and fostering a positive student-athlete image. Central Missouri SAAC devotes to time for community engagement with activities including the Literacy Team, Breast Cancer Awareness, Survival House, Angel Tree & Salvation Army Angel Tree, Decorate the Veteran's Home, first Saturday in December, Birthday's with Mo, Red Ribbon Week, and the Food Pantry. As a member of the MIAA, conference community engagement initiatives that UCM student-athletes participate in include Make-A-Wish Foundation, Student-Athlete Day, and the Legacy Program.
The University of Central Missouri SAAC has student-athlete representatives from every sports program. These representatives act as the link between their teammates, community and UCM administration.
