In 1995, the Central Missouri State Mules golf team claimed the MIAA Championship by 38 strokes. They also won four other tournaments during the year on their way to finishing 11th at the NCAA Division II Championships, their second consecutive trip to the national tournament. Darin Baldwin led head coach Tim Poe’s squad at the conference tournament, as he won the individual MIAA crown by 10 shots. Jay Schneiders led the Mules at the national championships, tying for 18th with a four-round total of 309. Ryan Krause tied for 33rd with a 313, Baldwin tied for 50th by carding a 317, Scott Hughes tied for 76th at 331, and Brent Hughes was 87th with a 341.
