No. 5 Jennies Bowling Qualifies for ITC National Tournament

DALLAS, Texas – No. 5 Central Missouri Women's Bowling qualified for the ITC National Tournament after finishing third at the ITC Sectionals in Dallas, Texas, Sunday March 9. The Jennies had a two-day combined record of 13-3 in Baker match play with an average of 187.39.

The Jennies started their weekend off going 7-1 on Saturday with wins over Cumberland (727-601), Culver Stockton (788-637), No. 17 McKendree University (797-754), Spring Hill (700-664), William Penn (800-759), Baker University (851-686), and Columbia College (745-667). The Jen's only loss on Saturday was to No. 12 Sacred Heart (705-814).

Going into the final day of competition the Jennies went 6-2 with wins over Hastings (732-678), Oklahoma Christian (821-695), Avila College (761-669), Coe College (769-706), No. 19 University of Alabama-Birmingham (746-695),  and McPherson College (720-658). Their only losses of the day were to Lindenwood University (633-716, 696-703) to finish third.

The ITC National Championship will be April 14-19 in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Jennies return to the lanes March 13, in Warrensburg, Mo., for the Mid-America Individual Championships inside the Union Bowling-Center.
