LINCOLN, Neb. -- No. 5-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Bowling completed the final round of the UNL Big Red Classic Sunday, Feb. 23 at the University of Nebraska. The Jennies went 1-1 in bracket play today to finish with a record of 4-7 to finish seventh overall in a tournament field which included six nationally ranked teams.Â

They started the day with a 3-4 loss to Elmhurst University (156-149, 169-164, 143-157, 139-152, 184-177, 154-169). Their final match of the day was against Quincy University where the Jennies won 4-0 (191-130, 241-132, 222-142, 190-125) to finish seventh. Â
Andrea Carolina Perez Perez lead the Jennies in scoring with a 207.8 average and finished in eighth place in All-events.
Norma Alicia Romero Alarid finished 12th overall with a 205.3 average.

The Jen's return to the lanes February 28-March 2 in Fort Worth, Texas for the Louisiana Tech Bulldog Classic.
