2023: Appeared in nine sets over seven matches as a freshman for the Jens... Recorded 13 kills overall averaging 1.44 kills per set... Had a season-best four kills against Emporia State (Sept. 22)... Tallied three kills in both matches against the Newman Jets (Oct. 5 and Nov. 4) on 13 swings for a .461 hitting percentage.

In High School: Maya is a two-time First Team All-District and All-Conference selection in 2021 and 2022 for head coach Katie Streaka and the Blue Springs Wildcats... Fergerson was a Second Team All-District selection in 2020 helping Blue Springs to three district championships... The 2022 Independence Examiner Volleyball Player of the Year was also a member of the Wildcats track and field team... Fergerson earned All-State Academic honors for her achievements in the classroom.
