MAYETTA, Kan. – The opening day of action at the Firekeeper Open is in the books for Central Missouri Mules Golf Monday, April 7, at Firekeeper Golf Course.
The Mules are in 12th place at 24-over par 600 after posting round scores of 305 and 295 Monday.
CJ Phillips paces UCM on the leaderboard through two rounds and is tied for 16th at 1-over par 145 (72-73) while Lawson Bark is tied for 24th at 3-over par 147 (74-73).
Jack Hope (78-76) and
Calvin Dillon (81-73) are tied for 75th at 10-over par 154, and
Andrew Whittaker is tied for 103rd at 18-over par 162 (81-81), rounding out the Central Missouri scoring.
Competing as an individual,
Alex Gentry is tied for 40th at 6-over par 150 (71-79).
Washburn's Blake Saffell is the clubhouse leader after the opening day of play Monday at 8-under par 132 while Concordia-St. Paul sits atop the team leaderboard at 3-under par 565.
Several teams were not able to complete their full second rounds due to darkness.
The remainder of the second round and third and final round are slated for Tuesday, April 8, in Mayetta, Kan.
