MAYETTA, Kan. – Central Missouri Mules golf's 2024-25 regular season schedule is in the books as UCM wrapped up the Firekeeper Open Tuesday, April 8, at Firekeeper Golf Course in Northeast Kansas.
The Mules tied for 13th in the final team standings, tallying a 54-hole team score of 41-over par 905 (305-295-305). No. 8-ranked Oklahoma Christian ran away with the team title, posting a three-round, 5-under par 859 (289-290-280), while No. 5 Central Oklahoma was second at 5-over par 869 (285-291-293). Concordia-St. Paul rounded out the top three in third with a 6-over par 870 (287-285-298).
CJ Phillips paced UCM on the leaderboard, tying for 16th with a 54-hole, 4-over par 220 (72-73-75) while
Lawson Barks tied for 37th at 9-over par 225 (74-73-78).
Calvin Dillon tied for 56th at 11-over par 227 (81-73-73),
Jack Hope tied for 86th at 17-over par 233 (78-76-79), and
Andrew Whittaker tied for 106th at 26-over par 242 (81-81-80), wrapping up the Central Missouri scoring.
Alex Gentry, competing as an individual, tied for 56th at 11-over par 227 (71-79-77), respectively.
Washburn's Blake Saffell earned individual medalist honors, firing a three-round, 9-under par 207 (68-68-71).
The Mules are scheduled to compete in the MIAA Men's Golf Championship April 21-23 at Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Mo.
