BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- Central Missouri Mules Golf finished in a tie for 15th at the Las Vegas Desert Classic at Boulder Creek GC in Boulder City, Nev., Tuesday March 4. The Mules (291,302) posted a team score of 289 to finish with a 54-hole total of 882 (+18). No. 1 Colorado Christian won the tournament at 836 (-28).
The Mules were led by redshirt senior
Calvin Dillon (72,76,69) who finished in a tie for 41st with a 54-hole score total of 217 (+1), sophomore
CJ Phillips (74,72,75) and junior
Nick Fallin (71,78,72) finished in a tie for 60th after posting a 54-hole score total of 221 (+5).
Next for the Mules was freshman
Lawson Barks (74,77,76) who finished in a tie for 81st with a 54-hole total of 227 (+11), and junior
Andrew Whittaker (72,78,80) finished in a tie for 88th after posting a 54-hole score total of 230 (+14) to round out the Mules scoring.
The Mules will be back in action in Edmond, Oklahoma for the Oak Tree Invitational March 17-18.
