SPRING, Texas -- No.14-ranked Central Missouri Jennies Golf finished in sixth place at the Southern Invitational at Cypresswood Golf Course Monday, Feb. 17. The Jennies shot a 36-hole total of 596 (+28) in a tournament field which included seven teams ranked in the Scoreboard Golf Top 25 rankings. No. 4-ranked Dallas Baptist won the tournament after posting a 36-hole total of 586 (+18). The event was originally scheduled for three rounds (54 holes) but was shortened to two rounds due to inclement weather.
Junior
Mia Rallo (74,72) led the Jennies scoring and finished in a tie for ninth after firing a 36-hole total of 146 (+4),
Nicole Rallo (74,74) finished in a tie for 12th after posting an 36-hole total of 148 (+6).
Maya McVey (76,73) finished in a tie for 16th after posting a 36-hole total of 149 (+7),
Kiki Bruner (79,74) finished in a tie for 37th after posting a 36-hole total of 153 (+11).
Junior
Libby Green (79,76) finished in a tie for 47th after posting a 36-hole total of 155 (+13), freshman
Reece Nimmo, who competed as an individual, (88,81) finished in a tie for 78th after posting a 36-hole total of 169 (+27) to round out the Jennies scoring.
The Jennies will be back on the links March 9-11 in Destin, Flordia, for the Emerald Coast Classic at Baytowne Golf Club.
