MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – No. 20-ranked Central Missouri Jennies golf wrapped up its 2024-25 regular season schedule with a second-place finish at the Spring Regional Preview Tuesday, April 8, at the Shangri-La Golf Club.
The Jennies fired a final round team score of 3-over par 291 to finish the tournament with a 36-hole tally of 1-over par 577 (286-291), finishing just three strokes back of team champion Henderson State, which tallied a two-round 2-under par 574 (289-285). Arkansas Tech rounded out the top three teams, placing third with a 13-over par 589 (293-296).
Mia Rallo finished tied for fourth with a 36-hole, 3-under par 141 (66-75) while
Maya McVey placed sixth with a 2-under par 142 (71-71). Rallo's opening round, 6-under par 66 tied the UCM 18-hole low round program record while her two-round 141 tied for second-best in program history. McVey's 142 tied for sixth-best all-time.
Libby Green tied or 13th at 2-over par 146 (74-72),
Nicole Rallo tied for 19th at 4-over par 148 (75-73), and
Kiki Bruner tied for 31st at 8-over par 152 (76-76), rounding out the UCM scoring.
Competing as an individual,
Reece Nimmo tied for 101st at 30-over par 174 (85-89), respectively.
Henderson State's Felisa Sajulga earned individual medalist honors after tallying a two-round, 8-under par 136 (70-66).
The Jennies are scheduled to compete in the MIAA Women's Golf Championship April 13-15 at Meadowlark Hills Golf Club in Kearney, Neb.
