WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- No. 21-ranked Central Missouri Mules Wrestling wins home dual to the Newman Jets Sunday, Feb 16. The Mules (9-5, 3-2 MIAA) won the match over the Jets (2-8, 1-4 MIAA) by a final score of 39-7. The Mules were led by No. 4 Jakason Burks, James Wright, Jack Lage, Garrett Lyons, No. 8 John Ridle, Paul Hernandez, Brayden Dillow, and No. 14 Torin Forsyth.

Burks, a senior from Omaha, Neb., brought the mules their first victory of the day over Dylan Sheler by technical fall (17-1) at 125 pounds.

Wright, a sophomore from Algonquin, Ill., picked up the mules second win over Jevin Foust by a decision of 13-6 at 133 pounds.

Lage, a redshirt-sophomore from Jefferson City, Mo., earned a victory over Keton Patterson by fall (1:55) at 141 pounds.

Lyons, a sophomore from Pleasant Hill, Mo., also picked up a victory over Colby Schreiner by technical fall (18-3) at 149 pounds.

Ridle, a redshirt-senior from West Dundee, Ill., grabbed a victory over Hunter Dietrich by technical fall (19-4) at 157 pounds.

Hernandez, a redshirt-sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., earned a victory over Skyler Geer by a decision of 11-5 at 174 pounds.

Dillow, a senior from Chanute, Kan., also grabbed a victory over Erik Tomanek by fall (1:57) at 197 pounds.

The last points of the day came from No. 14 Torin Forsyth, a freshman from Overland Park, Kan., who picked up a win over De'Leon Freeman by fall (1:43) at 285 pounds.

Up next, the Mules will host the NCAA-II Super Region Four inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center Saturday, Mar. 1.
