HAYS, Kan. -- No. 21-ranked Central Missouri Mules Wrestling picks up road win at Fort Hays State Saturday, Feb 1. against the Tigers. The Mules won the match by a final score of 36-6. They were led by No. 4 Jakason Burks, James Wright, Brock Smith, Ayden Dolt, No. 8 John Ridle, Anthony Erickson, No. 12 Damon Ashworth, and No. 14 Torin Forsyth.

Burks, a senior from Omaha, Neb., brought the mules their first victory of the night over Allen Stokes by technical fall (21-4) at 125 pounds.

Wright, a sophomore from Algonquin, Ill., picked up the mules second win over Andrew Honas by technical fall (20-2) at 133 pounds.

Smith, a redshirt-freshman from Grain Valley, Mo., earned a victory over Joseph Castelline by sudden victory (SV-1 5-2) at 141 pounds.

Dolt, a redshirt-sophomore from Excelsior Springs, Mo., picked up a win over Justus Hulse by fall (1:37) at 149 pounds.

Ridle, a redshirt-senior from West Dundee, Ill., also grabbed a victory over Marcell Dely by technical fall (18-1) at 157 pounds.

Erickson, redshirt-junior from Oak Grove, Mo., picked up a win over Jacob Judd by fall (3:38) at 165 pounds.

Ashworth, a redshirt-junior picked up a win over Matthew Rodriguez by a decision of 13-6 at 184 pounds.

The final points came from Forsyth, a freshman from Overland Park, Kan., who picked up a win over Riah Ostrander by a decision of 4-2.

Up next, the Mules are back at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center for a conference dual against the No. 5-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos Saturday, Feb. 15th.
