PITTSBURG, Kan – The UCM track & field team competed in the Pittsburg State Invitational Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the Pittsburg State University campus. The Mules and Jennies posted a combined six NCAA Division II provisional marks at the meet, highlighting several standout performances on the day.

Jumps
- Zachary Proctor posted a top-five finish in the men's high jump, placing fourth with a provisional height of 2.05m (6-8.75).
- Marissa Austene finished fourth in the women's long jump, posting a provisional and personal-best mark of 5.71m (18-8.75).
- Therese Reindl won the women's high jump open division, clearing a height of 1.59m (5-2.50). Cate Cooper also compiled a top-five finish, placing fifth with a mark of 1.49m (4-10.75).
- Reagan Ulrich placed second in the men's pole vault, clearing a provisional height of 5.08m (16-8.00).

Throws
- Rachael Molloy was runner-up in the women's weight throw with a provisional mark of 18.74m (61-6.00). Her throw ranks 11th-best in NCAA Division II this season.
- Madison Mears took second place in the women's shot put with a mark of 13.46m (44-1.25).

Sprints/Hurdles
- Rawley Chard posted a provisional time of 21.44 to win the men's 200m dash.
- Brooklynn Holtman ran a provisional time of 24.65 to place fifth in the women's 200m dash.
Relays
UCM is scheduled to compete in the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Open Feb. 7-8 in Maryville, Mo.
