CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The No. 14 University of Central Missouri Mules wrestling team completed the final day of the NWCA National Duals Saturday, Jan. 11 at the UNI-Dome. They were led by No. 3 ranked

Central Missouri opened the tournament with a 27-13 win over No. 21 Indianapolis.
Peyton Shepard earned a victory over Jadon Gyan by a decision of 12-6 at 125 pounds while No. 3
Jakason Burks earned a victory over Aiden Dallinger by technical fall (17-0) at 133 pounds.
Ayden Dolt picked up a win over Gavin Garcia by a major decision of 11-0 at 149 pounds, No. 6
John Ridle also earned a victory over Nathan Conley by a major decision of 11-1 at 157 pounds.
Conner Johnston earned a victory over Kaden Love by a decision of 13-6 at 165 pounds while No. 12
Damon Ashworth earned the victory over Van Skinner by technical fall (17-1) at 184 pounds.
Torin Forsyth secured the victory for the mules with a win by sudden victory (4-1) at 285 pounds.
In their second dual of the day, the Mules picked up another win over No. 25 Maryville 25-20. Burks earned a victory over Diego Barajas by a technical fall (16-0) at 125 pounds while
Garrett Lyons picked up a win over Collin Reif by sudden victory (4-1) at 149 pounds. Ridle earned his second victory of the day over Javier Gutierrez by a technical fall (15-0) at 157 pounds while
Anthony Erickson picked up a win over Evan Morris by injury (2:13). Ashworth also earned a victory over Caden Gousetis by fall (0:37) at 184 pounds.
The Mules will be back in action Sunday January 19, at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center for the Denker Open.
