KEARNEY, Neb. -- No. 16-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf sit in first place after the first round of the MIAA Fall Conference Preview at Meadowlark Hills Golf Club Monday, Sept. 23. The Jennies shot an 18-hole total of 294 (+10), while Washburn trails behind after posting an 18-hole total of 296 (+12).
Mia Rallo led the Jennies scoring with an 18-hole score of 69 (-2) to finish at the top of the leader board after day one.
Junior
Libby Green shot an opening round of 73 (+2) to finish in a tie for fourth after the first round.
Nicole Rallo,
Kiki Bruner, and sophomore
Maya McVey finished in a tie for 21st after finishing with an 18-hole total of 76 (+5) to round out the Jennies team score.
Freshman
Reece Nimmo is competing as an individual and shot a first round 18-hole score of 84 (+13) to finish in a tie for 72nd after day one.
The Jennies will play the final round of the two-day tournament Tuesday, Sept. 24.
