MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- Central Missouri Mules Golf finishes in fourth place after the final day of the NSU Men's Classic Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Muskogee Country Club. The Mules (288,285) posted a team score 289, to finish with 54-hole score total of 862 (+10). No. 19-ranked Henderson State won the event at 20-under par.
The Mules were led by sophomore
CJ Phillips (71,69) who finished in a tie for 13th after a final round 18-hole score of 71 (Even Par) to bring his 54-hole total to 211 (-2), freshman
Lawson Barks (71,69, 72), finished in a tie for 15th with a 54-hole score total of 1-under par (212).
Next for the Mules was redshirt senior
Calvin Dillon (72,76,71) who finished tied for 45th with a 54-hole score total of 219 (+6).
Rounding out the Mules scoring was junior
Jack Hope (74,76,75) and junior
Nick Fallin (76,71,78) who both finished tied for 68th with a 54-hole score total of 225 (+12).
Up next, the Mules will head to Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. For the National Preview at PGA National Golf Club Sept. 23-24.
