WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Central Missouri Mules Golf finished in second and third place after the final day of The Mule Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg.
The Mules A Team finished second after tallying a 54-hole team score of 13-over par 853 (277-282-285) while UCM's B Team finished third with an 18-over par 858 (277-294-287). No. 10-ranked Central Oklahoma won the tournament with a 54-hole team score of 1-under par 839.
CJ Phillips (68-71-68) finished fourth with a score total of 207 (-3), and
Nick Fallin (72-67-69) and Calvin Dillion (68-71-72) finished at a tie for fifth at 2-under par 208 to lead Central Missouri.
Jack Hope finished tied for 11th at 3-over par 213 (69-74-70),
Lawson Barks finished tied for 22nd at 8-over par 218 (72-75-71),
Tyson Malak finished tied for 37th at 11-over par 221 (73-74-74),
Will Boyd finished tied for 40th at 12-over par 222 (74-71-77),
Henry Manning finished tied for 52nd at 14-over par 224 (77-76-71), and
Nathan Womack (69-78-78) and
Brooks Baldwin (74-73-78) both finished tied for 58th at 15-over par 225, rounding out the UCM scoring.
Alex Gentry, who competed as an individual, finished tied for 85th at 22-over par 232 (75-78-79).
Nicholas Canales from Central Oklahoma took home individual medalist honors with a 54-hole total of 204 (-6).
Up next, the Mules will head to Tahlequah, Okla., for the NSU Men's Golf Classic at Muskogee Country Club Sept. 16-17.
