EDMOND, Okla. -- No. 15-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf won the Grace Shin Regional Preview at Kicking Bird Golf Club Tuesday, Oct. 8. The Jennies shot an 18-hole total of 287 (+7) to finish with a 36-hole score total of 573 (+13) on the way to their second straight tournament victory. Harding finished in the runner-up spot after posting a 36-hole total of 575 (+15) while No. 19 Henderson State was third at 581 (+21).
Mia Rallo (69,70) and
Maya McVey (71,68) led the Jennies scoring with a 36-hole score of 139 (-1) to finish in a tie for third. Their scores of 139 tied for program 36-hole tournament records.
Junior
Libby Green (73,73) finished in a tie for 23rd after finishing with a 36-hole total of 146 (+6), redshirt junior
Kiki Bruner (73,76) finished in a tie for 37thafter finishing with a 36-hole total of 149 (+9) to round out the Jennies scoring.
The Jennies will be back in action at Mozingo Lake Golf Club in Maryville, Mo., for the Midwest Classic Oct. 14-15.
