TOPEKA, Kan. -- Central Missouri Mules Golf finishes in a tie for 11th at the Washburn Invitational at The Topeka CC in Topeka, Kansas Tuesday Oct. 22. The Mules (301,288) posted a team score of 300 to finish with a 54-hole total of 889 (+37). Missouri Western won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 853 (+1).
The Mules were led by was sophomore
CJ Phillips (77,72,71) who finished in a tie for 26th with a 54-hole score total of 220 (+7), freshman
Lawson Barks (79,69,73) and redshirt senior
Calvin Dillon (72,74,75) finished in a tie for 34th after posting a 54-hole score total of 221 (+8).
Next for the Mules was senior
Brooks Baldwin (75,73,81) who finished in a tie for 65th with a 54-hole total of 229 (+16), junior
Nick Fallin (77,75,81) finished 77th after posting a 54-hole score total of 233 (+20) to round out the Mules scoring.
Junior
Jack Hope (79,79,79) competed as an individual and finished 79th with a 54-hole total of 237 (+24).
The Mules will be back in action in Claremore, Oklahoma for the Tulsa Cup October 28-29.
