EMPORIA, Kan. – The Central Missouri Mules cross country team continued the 2024 season at the Emporia State University Invitational on Friday, Oct. 11, from Jones Park Cross Country Course in Emporia, Kan.
The Mules finished in second place out of five teams in the 8k race highlighted by a pair of top 15 finishers in sophomore
Colby Adams (time of 27:47.2) who placed eighth overall, while St. Charles, Mo. native
Lucas Wright (time of 28:13.53) crossed the finish line in 14
th.
Rounding out the scoring for UCM was sophomore
Sam Mathis (time of 28:38.24) in 18
th place, Warrensburg, Mo. native
Julian McNeil (time of 28:59.68) in 20
th, and junior
Keenan Curp (time of 29:00.66) in 21
st.
The Mules and Jennies continue the 2024 campaign on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the 2024 MIAA Conference Championship Meet from MWSU Cross Country Course in St. Joseph, Mo.
