KEARNEY, Neb. -- Central Missouri Mules Wrestling fell, 35-9, to No. 3 Nebraska Kearney on Saturday, Feb. 4. The Mules won three of their seven matches, not including their three open weight classes.
Darick Lapaglia earned the first points for the Mules in a 6-4 decision over the Loper's John Burger at 149 pounds.
JD Culp followed with a 12-7 decision over Kearney's Teontae Wilson at 157 pounds.
Zachary Hazen was the final Mule to earn points. Hazen snuck by the Loper's Dylan Vodicka in a 7-6 decision at 184 pounds.
The Mules return to the mats Sunday, Feb. 12, in Hays, Kan. against the Fort Hays State Tigers at 2 p.m.
