WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Feb. 10, 2019) - Central Missouri Wrestling ( 2-6, 0-4 MIAA) returns to Warrensburg for Senior Night after five duals on the road. The Mules will go head to head with the Bronchos of Central Oklahoma (10-4, 2-1 MIAA).

Last Time on the Mat
Last time out, UCM went head to head with Drury and Westminster. UCM wasted no time taking the first two matches against Drury.
Erick Vargas took the 125-pound weight class by decision over Clay Singh 6-5.
John Feeney was the next Mule on the mat at 133, he defeated Jake Byrd by major decision 12-1. The Panthers would claw black and take the next five matches. But
Dominique Hampton halted their streak at 184-pounds due to forfeit to add points to the board. At 197-pounds
Martin Brunnert took down Dylan Ballew by decision 8-1. In the final match,
Chase Miller took the 285-weight class by sudden victory-3, 5-3. The Mules finished the day with a big win over Westminster. At 125, Vargas picked up six points due to forfeit.
Dakota Thevel came back strong at 141-pounds and defeated Drake Winder by fall at 2:09. At 165,
Cole Hatfield captured the victory over Payton Price by fall at 5:43. Westminster took the next three matches making it a close match, but
Chase Miller had other plans.
Chase Miller put the Mules over the edge just one point to defeat Westminster.
Mules Stat Leaders

Allan Person and
Dominique Hampton each won 16 matches last season. Person picked up his first win of the season at the Grand View Open but has not returned to the mat due to injury. Hampton has come out strong this season and was the top finisher at the Roger Denker Open placing second.

Chase Miller had a breakthrough week at the Drury Duals, where went 2-0 on the day. Miller took down two opponents and won the dual for his team against Westminster.

Jesse Reser opened up his season in a big way taking on a No. 6 ranked opponent at 165-pounds defeating him by decision 8-7 against Lindenwood. Reser has not returned to the mat since due to injury.
• As a team, the Mules had a total of nine wins on the mat last time out.
Looking Ahead
• The Mules will travel to St. Charles, Mo. Feb. 23 for the NCAA Super Region IV Championships.
