SPRINGDALE, Ark. (Nov. 29, 2017)-- Central Missouri Mules Wrestling earned their second dual win of the season defeating Ouachita Baptist 28-13 Wednesday night on the road. With the win, the Mules move to 2-2 on the season in dual competition.

UCM picked wins in seven of the 10 weight classes on the night to down Ouachita. The Tigers grabbed the early lead with a win at 125pounds by Tyler Hume via a forfeit, but the Mules won the next four weight classes to control the dual. 133 pounder Daide Agnew got things started for UCM with a 13-12 decision over Weston Cronan, cutting the Tigers lead to 6-3.

At 141 pounds, Zachary Schridde tied the team score up at 6-6 with a 6-4 decision over Robert Otero, while Dominic Nobile secured an easy six points at 149 pounds for the Mules with a win by forfeit. Leading 12-6, Kaleb Warner dominated Sean Butler at 157 pounds winning by way of 20-2 technical fall, his first of the season. The Mules led 17-6 at the midway point of the dual.

Tyler Mann stopped the bleeding for a bit for the Tigers with a 14-3 major decision over Kaleb Brooks at 165 pounds, cutting UCM's lead to 17-10, but it was not enough as the Mules reeled off three wins in the final four weight classes to secure the victory.

In his first dual of the season, Allan Person posted a 12-4 major decision over Justin Villegas at 174 pounds, pushing the Mules lead back to double digits, 21-10. 184 pounder Dylan Bollinger added the second major decision of the night for UCM with 13-2 score over Alex Pollock. The Mules final win came from Zach Benner at 197 pounds with a shutout over Austin Weldon via a 7-0 decision. Jerhett Lee was the final winner for the Tigers with a 7-2 decision over Chase Miller, but the Mules were too much for the Tigers as they secured the 15 point win.

The Mules will have a short break this week as they are back on the mats this Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Luther Hill Invitational hosted by Simpson College. Action is set to get underway at 9 a.m.
