EDMOND, Okla. -- The Mules Wrestling team fell against MIAA opponent Central Oklahoma 38-9 on Sunday afternoon in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The Mules went open at 125 pounds and started the dual in a 6-0 hole.

Daide Agnew lost in a 13-5 major decision at 133 pounds to Blake Dauphin, which extended the Bronchos' lead to 10-0.

Caleb Crabtree was pinned by Joshua Ailey in the first period giving UCO a 16-0 lead.

The Mules forfeited at 149, increasing the Bronchos lead to 22-0.

Dylan Lewis made his debut for the Mules at 157 pounds, but was pinned in the second period by Jeromy Davenport, extending Central Oklahoma's lead to 28-0.

At 165 pounds, Danny Carrillo earned a 15-4 major decision victory over Allan Person, giving UCO a 32-0 lead.

The Mules got on the board when Archie Williams won an 11-6 decision victory over Dylan Harmon, cutting the lead to 32-3.

The Bronchos answered back with a decision victory of their own at 184 pounds when Brock Warren beat Tyler Nelson 11-4, stretching the lead back to 32 points.

Robert Schneider gave the Mules their second victory of the dual when he pinned Brody Largent in the first period, cutting the lead to 35-9.

In the final bout of the day, Nick Lovejoy lost to Kyle Factor in a 3-1 sudden victory, making the final score 38-9.

The loss drops the Mules to 2-8 overall, and 1-3 in the MIAA. The Mules will be back in action Feb. 3 when they travel to Fort Hays State in their regular season finale.
