WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Mules Wrestling drops final home dual of 2015-16 season to No. 5 Nebraska-Kearney 37-10.

Erick Vargas faced No. 6 Conner Bolling at 125 pounds. Vargas took a 1-0 lead early in the second period, but Bolling came back to take the lead, and the eventual 6-1 victory to give the Lopers a 3-0 lead.

At 133 pounds, Daide Agnew was pinned by No. 1 Daniel DeShazer 10 seconds into the match to increase Nebraska-Kearney's lead to 9-0.

Caleb Crabtree lost by tech fall at 141 pounds to Keith Surber. The Loper victory gave them a 14-0 lead.

At 149 pounds, Destin McCauley of Nebraska-Kearney won by tech. fall over Steffon Fassett to push the Loper's lead to 19-0.

Zane Heiter was pinned by Chase White at 157 pounds, which gave Nebraska-Kearney a 25-0 lead.

At 165, Devin Aguirre of Nebraska-Kearney won a 6-0 decision over Allan Person, increasing the Loper lead to 28-0.

Archie Williams scored the first victory of the day for the Mules when we pinned Chance Bila at 2:55 to cut the lead to 28-6.

Mike Boyd lost by decision to Zach Stodden at 184 pounds, giving Nebraska-Kearney a 31-6 lead.

At 197 pounds, Robert Schneider lost to No. 1 Romero Cotton by fall.

Nick Lovejoy earned a 10-0 major decision victory over Luke Peterson at 285 pounds to make the final score 37-10.

The loss drops the Mules to 2-5 overall, and 1-2 in the MIAA. The Mules will be back in action tomorrow at the Roger Denker Open, starting at 10 a.m.
