Ryan Snyder is in his first year as Assistant Athletic Director of Development for the Central Missouri athletic department. His primary responsibilities include the athletic department's annual fund, donor relations, donor events, and the Celebrating Athletics Auction.Â
Snyder comes to UCM after spending two years (2021-23) as the Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations at fellow MIAA institution, Missouri Southern. Snyder oversaw all corporate partnerships, game operations, and ticketing.Â
Snyder spent three years as the Assistant Director of Strategic Communications at Penn State University where he served as the primary contact for the baseball, track and field/cross country, women's basketball, and women's soccer programs.

Before his stretch in Happy Valley, Snyder served as the Director of Athletic Communications at Quincy University where he oversaw all 19 NCAA-sponsored athletic teams from the fall of 2017 to the spring of 2019.Â
Following his playing career, he served as an assistant coach for the 2017 College World Series Quincy baseball team. The World Series appearance was the first in school history. The Hawks captured both the Midwest Regional title and the GLVC Tournament championships. Snyder mentored the two schools' all-time hits leaders (Brynn Martinez and Dominic Miles). 7 Hawks earned All-GLVC honors and Jake Walters was named a second team All-American. Graham Spraker (Toronto Blue Jays - 2017) and Riley Martin (Chicago Cubs - 2021) were both selected in the MLB Draft.Â
Snyder was a consensus First Team All-American (ABCA, NCBWA, D2CCA) baseball player at Quincy University. In 2016, he broke multiple single-season records, including home runs (23), RBIs (88), and hits (92) while finishing the season with a .444 batting average (third-highest in program history). Snyder was a finalist for the Tino Martinez National Player of the Year and the Josh Willingham Division II Most Valuable Player.Â
Snyder was the consensus Midwest Region Player of the Year, unanimous Midwest All-Region, unanimous GLVC Player of the Year, and unanimous First Team All-GLVC (second straight, First Team All-GLVC selection) following the 2016 campaign. He also earned the GLVC Triple Crown.Â
In 2015, he was a First Team All-GLVC selection, leading the Hawks to their first 40-win season since 2006.Â
During his two seasons, the Hawks were twice the #1 seed and host of NCAA Midwest Regional and 2015 GLVC Western Division champions. At the time of his graduation, Snyder ranked 4th all-time in career average (.380), 3rd in home runs (25), and 6th in RBI (117). He scored 102 runs and finished his two-year career at QU with 144 hits. Over his two seasons at QU, he made 106 consecutive starts in right field for the Hawks.Â

Snyder is no stranger to Warrensburg as he was a member of the Mules baseball team from 2011-2014, winning two regular season MIAA titles and one conference tournament title and making two NCAA Central Regional appearances.Â
