Pat Swoboda is in his ninth year of his second stint at UCM as the Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment. He returned to UCM after spending two years working in the equipment department for the St. Louis Rams.

As an Equipment Assistant with the Rams, Swoboda was assigned with managing the daily scheduling and work throughout training camp of five interns. He oversaw the packing of equipment and clothing for games and assisting in defensive team walk through.

Swoboda was an intern with the Rams from June 2014 until March of 2015. During that time he was in charge of laundry for all players, staff and coaches; the maintenance of equipment, including repair and sanitation; and was in charge of locker room and field setup and breakdown for practices and games.

He was the head equipment manager at UCM as a student from June of 2010 until June 2014. He managed a staff responsible for purchasing and reconditioning of football equipment and attire, the laundering of athletic gear for over 400 UCM student-athletes and assisted in the planning of the new equipment and laundry facilities at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.

Swoboda also interned with the Jacksonville Jaguars during 2011 training camp where he assisted in the day to day operations of the equipment staff.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UCM in May of 2014 and earned his Equipment Managers certification from the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) in June of 2014.
