As a junior: An honorable mention all-MIAA pick after going 7-of-12 in field goal attempts and 44-of-46 on PAT attempts for 65 points ... set a school-record with 53 yard field goal against Missouri Western ... had a season-high 10 points in the win over Truman State ... moved into first place in UCM history for career extra points made, fifth in field goals made, second in points scored by a kicker and fourth overall in points scored ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Earned second-team All-MIAA honors at kicker after tying for the league lead with 15 field goals ... Also led the MIAA in kick scoring with 108 points, including 63-of-72 extra point attempts... Hit 15-of-19 field goals on the year, with a long of 46 against Northwest Missouri State ... Also had a season-high 13 points vs. Pittsburg State ... named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
As a freshman: Had a solid true freshman season as the starting kicker... Was 6-of-9 in field goals and 42-of-45 in extra points... best game came against Fort Hays State, kicking two field goals and six extra points for 12 points... season long field goal was 43 yards against Pittsburg State... averaged 58.6 yards per kickoff with two touchbacks... grabbed MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
In high school: Head Coach: David Large – Played on the Class 3A Missouri State Championship team in 2008… He capped off his senior year with the third longest field goal in Show-Me Bowl history with a 42-yarder… Has been the first-team All-Big 8 kicker three times, as well as first-team all-district three times… In 2008, he was first-team all-state in both the coaches and media polls... He also received first-team all-area honors as a kicker from the Joplin Globe in 2007 and 2008… The Springfield News-Leader named him to the All-Ozark first-team in 2008… He finished 2008 48/51 on PAT, had 51 touchbacks, and a 38 yard punting average... also played soccer, earning all-district three times and all-region once... he is the all-time career and assist leader in school history, and led his team to the state semifinals twice.
