2024 NCAA-II Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and field is sending eight individuals and the men's 4x100m relay to the 2024 NCAA-II Outdoor Championships May 23-25 in Emporia, Kan., at Francis G. Welch Stadium.
The Mules, who enter the NCAA-II Championships ranked ninth in the latest USTFCCCA National Rating Index, have five individuals qualified for the meet, in addition to the 4x100m relay while the Jennies have three individual qualifiers set to compete in Emporia.
Championship action is scheduled to get underway at 10:30 a.m. CT Thursday, May 23, and continue Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25, at Francis G. Welch Stadium.

- University of Central Missouri track & field wrapped up its 2022-23 season with a pair of All-American performances in the pole vault and high jump on the final day of the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships Saturday, May 27, at the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl.
- Madi Wulfekotter secured All-American accolades in the pole vault with a third-place finish while Evans Yamoah earned All-American recognition in the high jump and was the 2023 NCAA-II National Runner-Up.
- The Mules & Jennies concluded the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships with six All-American accolades during the three-day meet.
- Wulfekotter cleared a height of 4.10m (13-5.25) on her first attempt to secure third and tally her fourth-career All-American performance.
- Yamoah cleared a school record height of 2.21m (7-3.00) on his third and final attempt for his second-career All-American honor and second-place finish. His mark bested the old outdoor record of 7-2.50 set by former Mules Leander Toney (2012) and Ivan Varbanov (2004).
- Yamoah tied with Cordell Tinch of Pittsburg State at 2.21m, but Tinch captured the National Championship after clearing the winning height on his second attempt while it took Yamoah three attempts.

Multi-Events
- Trey Miller, Decathlon: Miller will be making his second appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships in the decathlon and first since 2019. He finished first at the 2024 MIAA Outdoor Championships and enters the meet with the third-best point total in NCAA-II at 7343.
- Kayla Goodwin, Heptathlon: Goodwin will make her third-career appearance in the heptathlon at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. Goodwin, who won the MIAA Championship in the heptathlon this season, is a reigning two-time All-American in the event, having placed seventh last season and fifth in 2021. She enters the meet with the 11th-best heptathlon point total in NCAA-II at 5291.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Antonio Lay, 100m dash: Lay will be making his third-career showing at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships in the 100m dash. Lay collected All-American honors in the event in 2022, placing fourth. He enters the meet with the fourth-fastest time in NCAA-II at 10.17.
- Parker Wormek, 110m hurdles: Wormek will be making his second-career appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. He enters the meet with the ninth-fastest time in NCAA-II at 13.83.
- Brooklynn Holtman, 200m and 400m dash: Holtman will make her inaugural appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships when she competes in the 200m and 400m dashes. She enters the meet with the 11th fastest time in the 400m dash at 53.47 and 13th fastest time in the 200m dash at 23.47.
Jumps
- Kayla Goodwin, triple jump: In addition to qualifying in the heptathlon, Goodwin will mark her third-career appearance in the triple jump at the outdoor championships. She claimed All-American accolades in the event in 2021 with a fourth place finish. Goodwin enters the meet with the 15th-best mark in NCAA-II at 12.42m (40-9).
- Maggie Klover, triple jump: Klover is making her first appearance in the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. She enters the meet with the 20th best mark in NCAA-II at 12.30m (40-4.25).
- Evans Yamoah, high jump: Yamoah is making his second appearance in the high jump at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. He was the national runner up last season in the event and is tied for fifth in NCAA-II entering the meet with a mark of 2.17m (7-1.50).
Throws
- Addison Snowball, discus: Snowball is making his fourth appearance in the discus at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. Snowball, who won the 2024 MIAA Outdoor Discus Championship, enters the meet with the second-best mark in NCAA-II at 58.06m (190-6).
