Jennies Volleyball Signs Four from 2025 Class

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Central Missouri Jennies volleyball is proud to announce the signing of four future Jennies to the 2025 roster.
 
"We are ecstatic to add these four to our family next fall! They bring a level of athleticism and competitiveness that will elevate our team the minute they step on campus." Head coach Caitlin Peterson said. "I look forward to watching them thrive in the college environment." Peterson added.  
 
 
Ragin Corwin | Blue Springs, Mo. | Defensive Specialist / Libero  
Blue Springs High School | PVA 18 Elite
Corwin was a three-year varsity letter winner for head coach Katie Straka at Blue Springs High School highlighted by a First Team All-Conference and All-District selection in 2024 with 346 kills, 353 digs, 33 service aces, and 33 blocks appearing in 101 sets over 34 matches earning MOKAN First Team All-Tournament honors for the Wildcats. Along with her accomplishments on the court, Corwin maintains a 4.2 overall GPA and is a four-time Distinguished Scholar award winner and a three-time Academic All-American and All-State recipient for her work in the classroom as she plans to major in Elementary Education.

Bria Dawson | Olathe, Kan. | Middle Blocker
Olathe North High School | PVA Elite 18  
Dawson was a 2024 AVCA All-Region, All-America Watch List, and Best & Brightest Award selection for head coach Nathan Eick at Olathe North High School as she was named a Second-Team All-Sunflower League performer this season after earning an Honorable Mention nod in 2023. Along with her accomplishments on the court, Dawson was a two-year letter winner on the Eagles golf team where she was a two-time Honorable Mention All-Sunflower League selection qualifying for the KSHSAA Class 6A State golf tournament in 2021 and 2022 as well as a two-year letter winner for the track & field team. Along with her accomplishments athletically, Dawson is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in Public Relations & Strategic Communications.

Sammy Klotz | Mayetta, Kan. | Outside Hitter
Royal Valley High School | Shazam Volleyball Club   
Was a four-year letter winner for head coach Katie Glatzack at Royal Valley High School where she eclipsed over 1,400 kills and 1,100 digs in her career earning All-State and All-Conference honors twice. Klotz helped the Panthers to a regional and sub-state championships in 2024 while being selected to the NEK All-Star Game. Along with her accomplishments on the volleyball court, Sammy is a three-time state qualifier in track and field alongside being a two-time Kansas All-State selection on the softball diamond. In addition to her successes athletically, Klotz is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in Sales & Marketing.

Aspen Nelsen | Indianola, Iowa | Outside Hitter
Indianola High School | Iowa Powerplex   
Nelsen is a two-time All-State, All-Conference, and All-District recipient for head coach Kent Halstead and the Indianola Indians collecting 978 kills, 766 assists, 210 service aces, and 819 digs helping them capture four conference and three district championships including a runner-up finish at the state tournament in 2023. Aspen played for head coaches Mark Steinbach and Natalia Medieta for Iowa Powerplex where they placecd third at nationals in back-to-back seasons. In addition to her successes on the volleyball court, Nelsen is a four-year letter winner in track & field and is a three-time Academic All-Conference selection who intends to major in Kinesiology & Nutrition.
