FIRST PITCH 
  • Jennies softball continues MIAA play hosting a pair of doubleheaders against the Northeastern State Riverhawks on Saturday, April 1 beginning at 1:00 p.m. and No. 8 Rogers State on Sunday, April 2, beginning at noon from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.       
  • UCM heads into play on Saturday afternoon following a doubleheader sweep of the Missouri S&T Miners by final scores of 8-0 (6 inn.) and 4-0 on Tuesday, March 28, from Jennies Field.  
  • Central Missouri features five players hitting above .300 including Makenzie McAtee (.381 avg., 1.067 OPS, 21 R, 2 2B, 4 HR, 24 RBI, .548 SLG%, 21 BB, .519 OB%, 1 SB), Abbey Fischer (.360 avg., 1.015 OPS, 33 R, 5 2B, 4 3B, 3 HR, 15 RBI, .580 SLG%, 9 BB, .435 OB%, 10 SB), Abby Allnutt (.346 avg., .771 OPS, 9 R, 3 2B, 1 3B, 15 RBI, .410 SLG%, 3 BB, .361 OB%, 1 SB) MaKenzie Cooper (.327 avg., .845 OPS, 3 R, 4 2B, 1 HR, 12 RBI, .462 SLG%, 6 BB, .383 OB%) and Ashlyn Cook (.313 avg., .937 OPS, 23 R, 8 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR, 27 RBI, .573 SLG%, 7 BB, .364 OB%, 9 SB).
  • In the circle UCM is led by Andi Siebeneck (2.22 ERA, 6-2, 4 CG, 47.1 IP, 41 H, 19 R, 15 ER and 43 K), Paige Petefish (2.93 ERA, 6-2, 5 CG, 69.1 IP, 69 H, 35 R, 29 ER, and 57 K) and Kaylee Diggs (3.28 ERA, 5-4, 1 CG, 1 SV, 36.1 IP, 39 H, 21 R, 17 ER and 16 K).  
  • As a team, the Jens are hitting .303 with an OPS of .800 and 50 stolen bases while limiting their opponents to a .257 average. UCM has a team ERA of 3.04 and a fielding percentage of .964.  
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Northeastern State: Heading into their doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, the Jennies hold a 17-15 advantage all-time including a 9-3 record in Warrensburg. Last season, the RiverHawks won both games in Tahlequah, Okla. (4/1/2022).  
  • Rogers State: Ahead of Sunday's contests, the Hillcats hold a 6-3 advantage all-time dating back to the 2006 season as this will be the first time RSU will travel to Warrensburg to play the Jennies. Last season, the Hillcats took both games in Claremore, Okla. (4/2/2022).
 
 
UCM DURING the ANDERSON ERA
  • Susan Anderson enters her 17th season as head coach of the Jennies where she is the second winningest coach in program history with a record of 475-358 (.570).
  • Since her return to Warrensburg in 2006, Anderson has made 13 MIAA tournament appearances, five regional tournament appearances and one Elite Eight appearance.
  • The 2015 Regional Coach of the Year has been named MIAA Coach of the Year three times in her career (twice named as head coach of the Jens) while coaching 17 first team All-MIAA selections, eight All-Region selections, two All-Americans and one MIAA MVP.
