  • Central Missouri Jennies softball (9-26, 2-10 MIAA) is scheduled to welcome the Newman Jets (9-19, 3-7 MIAA) and the No.10-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos (30-6, 9-1 MIAA) in a pair of noon MIAA doubleheaders Saturday, April 9, and Sunday, April 10, at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex.
  • Saturday, the Jennies will celebrate their 50th anniversary and will honor Jennies softball alums in attendance between games one and two of the twin bill vs.Newman. 
  • The Jennies are coming of a MIAA doubleheader sweep of the Lincoln Blue Tigers Wednesday,April 6, winning 9-6 and 10-4.

Series History
  • Newman: The Jennies and the Jets will meet for the fourth time in the all-time series Saturday. UCM leads the series 3-0. Last season, the Jennies went 2-0 against the Jets, winning in Wichita, Kan., 8-0 (5 inn.) and 6-3. 
  • Central Oklahoma: Central Missouri and Central Oklahoma will meet for the 40th time in the all-time series Sunday. The series is tied, 20-20. UCM went 1-2 vs. the Bronchos in 2021, dropping a doubleheader in Edmond, Okla., 2-1 (8 inn.) and 5-0, and defeating UCO in the MIAA tournament, 3-2 (8 inn.).

  • Susan Anderson is in her 16th season as the head coach for the Jennies softball program. She has a record of 464-344 (.563) in her 16 seasons in Warrensburg and a career record of 644-514 (.538) in 24 seasons.
