• Central Missouri Jennies basketball returns home to the Multipurpose Building for a pair of MIAA contests against the Central Oklahoma Bronchos and Newman Jets Thursday, Jan. 13, and Saturday, Jan. 15. The Jennies are slated to face the Bronchos Thursday at 5:30 p.m. before taking on the Jets Saturday at 1 p.m.
Storylines
• Central Missouri enters Thursday with an overall record of 10-6 and an MIAA mark of 6-3 after splitting a pair of road games at third-ranked Fort Hays State and ninth-ranked Nebraska Kearney Jan. 6 and 8. UCM fell at Fort Hays State, 84-59, before handing ninth-ranked Nebraska Kearney its first home loss of the season and snapping the Lopers 11-game winning streak with a 58-52 win.
• Through 16 games, the Jennies are led by redshirt senior forward
Nija Collier (19.7 ppg., 11.7 RPG, 1.6 BPG), redshirt freshman forward
Brooke Littrell (19.1 ppg., 9.3 RPG) and redshirt freshman guard

• Collier (second), Littrell (fourth) and Nelson (10th) rank in the top-10 in scoring in the MIAA through 16 games.
• Collier leads the conference on the glass with her 11.7 rebounds per game while Littrell is fourth in rebounding at 9.3 rebounds per game.
• Collier is third in the MIAA in field-goal percentage (115-215, .535) while Littrell is sixth (110-226, .487).
• Collier is second in all of NCAA Division II in rebounds through 16 games with 187. She is 11th in NCAA-II and first in the conference with 11.7 rebounds per game. In addition, she is 21st in NCAA-II with her 19.7 points per game.
• Collier and Littrell's team-high 10 double-doubles leads the MIAA and ranks second in NCAA-II.
• Nelson is second in the MIAA in assists per game at 5.0, while Collier is third in blocks with 1.7 per game.

Last Time Out for the Jennies

Brooke Littrell scored 22 points and pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds to help Central Missouri Jennies basketball turn back the ninth-ranked and MIAA-leading Nebraska Kearney Lopers, 58-52, Saturday, Jan. 8, inside the Health and Sports Center.
• With the win, UCM handed Nebraska Kearney its first home loss of the season and snapped the Lopers' 11-game winning streak.
• Littrell went 7-for-15 from the field and 8-for-10 at the free-throw line for her game-high 22 points and picked up her team-high 10th double-double of the season with her 18 boards.

Olivia Nelson added 19 points and dished out four assists, and
Nija Collier tallied 13 points with eight rebounds to round out the Central Missouri leaders in the contest.
• The Jennies shot 36 percent from the field, going 20-for-55, and 33 percent from three-point range with five makes on 15 attempts. UCM added a 13-of-18 showing at the free-throw line for 72 percent.
• Central Missouri was edged in rebounding by Nebraska Kearney, 38-37.
Jennies in the Rankings
• The defending NCAA Division II Central Region Champion Jennies were picked to finish second this year in the MIAA preseason coaches' poll. UCM received three first-place votes in the poll.
• Central Missouri was voted to tie for first with Fort Hays State in the MIAA preseason media poll. The Jennies tallied 118 points and five first-place votes in the poll.
