• The Jennies wrap up their three game home stand this weekend when they take on Southwest Baptist. The Jens have started the homestand at 2-0 with wins over Lincoln and Lindenwood.
• The Jens are back on the road for two next week against Northeastern State and Central Oklahoma.Â

• All-time the Jennies are 57-13 against Southwest Baptist. The two teams met last semester, a 72-66 win for the Jennies in Bolivar.
• UCM has won four straight and nine of the last 10 against the Bearcats.
• The Jennies have won nine straight at home against the Bearcats. The last time SBU won in Warrensburg was back in January, 2008.
• Coach
Dave Slifer is nearing 300 wins at UCM. Already the all-time leader in wins by a coach, Slifer needs seven more to reach 300.
• The Jens are only playing once this week and that might be an issue. Two of UCM's four losses have come when a week or more off between games.Â

Last Time Out
• The Jennies picked up two home wins last weekend defeating Lincoln and Lindenwood. UCM led for nearly 35 minutes against the Blue Tigers in their 77-58 win, their largest of the season. Three Jens were in double-figures led by
Megan Skaggs' 19 point, 12 rebound double-double. Central Missouri followed that with a 74-68 win over #24 Lindenwood.
Paige Redmond poured in 27 points in the win.
Previously vs. SBU
• Back in Bolivar in late November, these two teams were tied heading into the fourth quarter. The Jennies pulled away by holding the Bearcats scoreless over the final 3:09.
Morgan Fleming's jumper with under a minute to go made it a two possession game.
Megan Skaggs recorded her first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.Â

Paige Redmond has not had much success against the Bearcats. She averages just 11.2 points per game while shooting 37% from the floor and 18.5% from three. In her last 2 games vs. SBU Redmond is 5-22 overall, 1-11 from three.

Megan Skaggs recorded a double-double in the Jens last game at Bolivar. She averages nine points and 4.5 rebounds in four games against the Bearcats with at least 12 in her last two games.Â

Morgan Fleming is the Jennie with the most success against SBU. She averages 17 points and has scored in double-figures in all three career games against the Bearcats while shooting 56% and 5-12 from three.

Paige Redmond became the eighth Jennie to score more than 1500 career points, doing so against Lindenwood. She is currently at 1,505 needs 40 more to reach seventh place and 128 more to crack the top-five. Redmond is also climbing the all-time 3FGM and assist list. She has 183 threes for her career which is moves her to fifth all-time and is seventh with 356 assists.Â

Sydney Crockett is also moving up the all-time three-point list and is currently ninth with 119 and nine away from eighth place.

• For the last three seasons the Jennies have made a habit of holding teams to fewer than 10 points in at least one quarter. It's happened in 42 games dating back to the 2016-17 season and in those games, UCM is 39-3. The Jens were 15-1 when doing so in 2016-17 and 18-1 last year including four of the six NCAA postseason games. The Jens are at it again this year. In seven games, they've held an opponent to single-digits in one quarter of play, including last at Missouri Southern and are 6-1 this season.Â

Paige Redmond might be the hottest player in the MIAA. She's reached double-figures in nine straight and is the new MIAA scoring leader with 17.8 ppg. Over her last three contests, Redmond is averaging 25 points per game and shooting 51%.Â

Peyton Taylor has scored in five straight games and had a career day against Lindenwood playing 29 minutes and scoring 16 points going 6-7 from the floor and 2-3 from three.

Southwest Baptist Bearcats (6-11, 2-6 MIAA)
• Southwest Baptist picked up their first two conference wins of the year last week.
• After starting MIAA play 0-6, the Bearcats were home and defeated Lindenwood and Lincoln and moved to 6-11 on the season and 2-6 in the MIAA.Â
• The Bearcats average 76.7 points per game which is second in the MIAA. They have four players in double-figure points led by Caylee Richardson's 14.5. Morgan Henderson scores 11.6 while Bailey Rezabeck and Laura Vierkant are at 11.0 and 11.2.
• Richardson and Henderson also average more than seven rebounds per game, leading the team with 7.3 and 7.1. They have more than 27% of their team's total rebounds this season.
• Both the Bearcats and their opponents turn the ball over more than 16 times per game.Â
