• The Mules are coming off a 31-19 win over No. 22 Central Oklahoma on Homecoming last Saturday at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field. The Mules led 31-6
• The RiverHawks are coming off a 34-7 loss at Missouri Southern on Saturday and are winless on the season. NSU led 7-0 after one quarter, but the Lions scored 34 unanswered points for the win.
ON THE AIR• The game will be broadcast on the 44,000-watt 98.5 The Bar and 1450 KOKO with Greg Hassler and Bill Turnage calling the action. With Saturday's game kicking off at 1 p.m. the Mules Tailgate Show will begin at 11:50 a.m.

QUICK HITS• A win over Northeastern State on Saturday would give the Mules their first five-game winning streak since the 2010 season.
• The Mules, and the rest of the MIAA, will be playing an 11-game schedule in 2014 with all 11 games against conference competition.
• The Mules will play six of their 11 games at home this season. It is the first time in five years that the Mules have more than five games at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
• Central Missouri went 6-4 last season finishing in seventh place in the MIAA standings. It was the seventh straight winning season for Mules Football and the 15th in the last 16 seasons.
SERIES HISTORYÂ This will be the 11th all-time meeting between Central Missouri and Northeastern State.
The RiverHawks lead the series 8-1, Northeastern State's win in 1986 (42-22) in Tahlequah was later vacated.
• The Mules got their first win in the series last year, with a 51-7 victory in Warrensburg.
• The Mules are 0-3 against NSU in Tahlequah since 1966, including a 24-23 loss to the RiverHawks on Oct. 20, 2012. UCM led that game 23-7 at halftime, but the Mules were outscored 17-0 in the second half.
LAST MEETING WITH NORTHEASTERN STATE• The Mules racked up 603 yards of total offense, the seventh most in a single game in school history, and the second straight game with over 600 yards of total offense in the 51-7 win over Northeastern State on Oct. 26, 2013 in Warrensburg.
• UCM had 374 yards rushing, the seventh most in a single game in school history, including 137 from
LaVance Taylor on just 10 carries.

Hayden Hawk was 16 of 33 for 211 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Ronrei Lloyd caught two passes for 37 yards and a touchdown to move into a tie for fifth all-time at UCM with 17 career touchdown grabs.
• Eight different receivers caught passes for Central Missouri.
• UCM held Northeastern State to just 215 yards of total offense, including 39 yards rushing on 35 carries.

Josh Powell had six tackles and three sacks, the sixth most sacks in a single game in UCM history.
• The defense registered seven sacks, the fourth most in a single game in school history.
ABOUT THE RIVERHAWKS• Northeastern State comes in to the game at 0-7 overall and in the MIAA after a 34-7 loss at Missouri Southern on Saturday. NSU led 7-0 and was tied 7-7 at halftime, but Missouri Southern scored 34 unanswered points in the win.
• The RiverHawks are led by first year head coach Rob Robinson, who spent the previous 12 seasons as an assistant coach at Washburn including the last four as offensive coordinator.
• NSU is giving up 39.1 points per game, while scoring just 9.9 points per contest.
• The RiverHawks average 283.7 yards per game offensively, 209.0 through the air and 74.7 on the ground. They give up 219.9 yards per game rushing and 180.6 through the air.
• NSU has turned the ball over 19 times this season and forced just seven of their own turnovers.
• They have been outscored 72-7 in the second quarter this year and 86-0 in the third.
• Derrick Moore is NSU's leading rusher at 35.3 yards per game. He's run for 247 yards and a touchdown on 49 carries.
• Quarterback Kevin Pantastico is completing 53 percent of his passes for 1,409 yards and five touchdowns with 11 interceptions. His favorite target has been Garrett Powell with 42 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns. The next closest receiver, Ricki Herod, has 20 catches on the year.
• Defensively, Steffon Herd leads NSU with 50 tackles including 40 solo stops. The unit as a whole has amassed 53 tackles for loss and 10 quarterback sacks.
LAST TIME OUT• The Mules jumped out to a 14-0 lead and never looked back in a 31-19 win over No. 22 Central Oklahoma on Homecoming.

LaVance Taylor rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. He had scoring runs of 10 and 80 yards.

Hayden Hawk was 11-of-19 passing for 178 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a score.

J.R. Alexander had a team-high eight tackles and intercepted his team-leading third pass of the season.
• The UCM defense forced three Broncho interceptions in the game.
• UCM registered six tackles for loss and five sacks, including 1.5 each for

• UCM is 30-14 in conference action under
Jim Svoboda. The Mules were 5-4 in league play a season ago and finished in seventh place in the MIAA standings.

LaVance Taylor currently leads the MIAA in rushing at 143.1 yards per game and in scoring with 13 touchdowns in 2014.
• Taylor has gone over the 100 yard mark in five of Central Missouri's seven games and has gone over the 200-yard mark twice, including a school-record 288 yards on 23 carries in the win over Emporia State.
• His 206.3 all-purpose yards per game average also leads the conference.
• Taylor is eighth in NCAA-II in rushing yards per game and his 1,002 yards on the season are the sixth most in the country.
TAYLOR NAMED MIAA PLAYER OF THE WEEK•
LaVance Taylor earned his third MIAA Offensive Player of the Week award this season for his performance in UCM's 31-19 win over No. 22 Central Oklahoma last Saturday. He rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in the win. He also caught two passes for 18 yards.
• Taylor now has 1,002 rushing yards on the season to lead the MIAA. It is the first 1,000 yard rushing season in his career.
 TACKLING MACHINES• Junior linebacker
Ricky Spratley is currently fifth in the MIAA in tackles, averaging 9.7 stops per game. His 68 total tackles leads the team, as do his 32 solo stops. His linebacking mate
Alex Perlin is sixth in the league in tackles at 9.5 per contest. He has 57 total tackles on the season in six games.
• Spratley set a new career-high with 19 tackles in the win at Missouri Southern.
VENCKUS CONTROLLING THE LINE• Junior defensive end
Jason Venckus currently leads the MIAA in tackles for loss with 10.5 on the year. He is tied for second in the league with 4.5 sacks.
• He had a career-high three tackles for loss in the win over Nebraska-Kearney and followed that up with two against Missouri Southern and 2.5 against Central Oklahoma.

Diaron Rhodes is second in the MIAA with 12 passes defended on the season and is averaging 1.71 passes defended per game.

MULES IN THE PROS• There is one former Mule currently on an NFL roster. Tight end Delanie Walker is in his ninth season in the league and his second with the Tennessee Titans. Walker signed a four-year deal with the Titans last season after playing in Super Bowl XLVII with San Francisco. He caught two passes for 17 yards in Tennessee's loss at Washington on Sunday. Walker has 214 catches for 2,474 yards with 17 touchdowns in his career.
A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE IN ATHLETICS• Central Missouri has won a combined 200 MIAA regular-season conference championships in 14 league sports to lead all schools.
• Last season, UCM captured seven MIAA regular season titles, the most of any school in league history and the second time Central Missouri accomplished the feat.
