WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Mules wrestling (6-7, 2-3 MIAA) dropped their final home dual of the season against the third-ranked Central Oklahoma (9-1, 4-0 MIAA) Bronchos, 34-6, Thursday night at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
Ty Loethen was the lone Mule to pick up a victory in the dual after he pinned the Bronchos Zach Aylor at 2:32 of the 165 pound bout.
The Mules finish their first regular season of MIAA wrestling since the 1985-86 season with a record of 2-3, claiming wins over Truman and Lindenwood.
The Mules will now await word on their opponent and seed in the MIAA Wrestling Tournament to be held Sunday, February 10 at Hamilton Fieldhouse on the University of Central Oklahoma Campus in Edmond. Wrestling is set to begin at 10 a.m.
