Nicole Caddell’s last-second layup pushes Jennies past Southwest Baptist.
Box Score (BOLIVAR, Mo.) – After the Bearcats made a second half comeback that gave them a seven-point edge late in the game, the Central Missouri Jennies went off on a 9-1 run, capped by senior Nicole Caddell's game-winning layup with two seconds to play.
            The Jennies withstood a hot start for the Bearcats from beyond the arc, as SBU hit five of their first six treys, and briefly lead, 10-9 at the 14:07 mark. The Jennies scored the next seven points to re-take a six point edge, and led throughout the rest of the first half, shooting 50% (15-30) from the field, and 50% (4-8) from three. UCM finished the half on a 7-1 run, and went into the locker rooms leading 37-26.
            Central Missouri continued kept the momentum rolling into the second half, starting out on a 7-2 run, highlighted by five quick points from Taylor Hanson. After building up a 16-point lead, the Bearcats made a 21-8 run and closed the gap to three points with 6:13 to play, forcing a Jennies timeout. Southwest Baptist took their first lead of the second half with four and a half minutes to play, by a pair of free throws from LaKendra Smith. The Bearcats scored 17 straight points en route to a 57-52 advantage with 3:08 to play. The Jennies made one final run, scoring the next seven points, tying the game at 59 with :43 left.
